Message to our Customers & Colleagues
Regarding the report of influence on our products we have been provided after the major earthquake which had epicenter in Sanriku (Tohoku Region Pacific Ocean Coast) on March 11, I assume the report to be an end today.
As for the supply chain of quartz processing parts and electronic parts, I herein report that we have confirmed the production recovery of all the related suppliers at affected area, and the concerns for manufacturing of our products and supply of spare parts are completely wiped out.
Additionally, as we reported several times, we have been executing radiation measurement against all of the parts received from the suppliers located in the vicinity of the Fukushima nuclear plant and also for all the export goods such as equipments, modification parts, and spare parts prior to shipment. Until August 31st, there are no parts or equipment found that the radiation level exceeds the criteria. Based on this result, I herein report that we will cease the measurement from today.
We wish sincerely to express our gratitude for large support from all the customers against the supply of our product and spare parts since the earthquake occurence.
